Drake Milligan

Born in Mansfield, Texas, in 1998, Drake Milligan grew up between the local country scene and an early fascination with Elvis Presley — a dual influence that strongly shapes his songwriting and stage presence. After moving to Nashville to pursue music, he positioned himself within a Texas‑rooted strand of country, blending classic‑format ballads, honky‑tonk touches and 1950s rock’n’roll inflections. Before breaking through on the country circuit, he portrayed Elvis in the TV series "Sun Records" and reached a wider national audience in the US through his participation on "America’s Got Talent" in 2022. In terms of releases, Milligan issued a self‑titled EP in 2021 that established a sound focused on vocals, narrative melodies and carefully crafted guitar work, and followed with the album "Dallas/Fort Worth" in 2022, which bridges Texas tradition, country‑club sonics and more contemporary arrangements. On stage and in the studio he favors a near‑live format: a direct rhythm section, prominent twang and lyrics that draw from both the neo‑traditional heritage and the current codes of Nashville country.
