Drake Milligan brings his Texas-bred country to Manchester Academy on 21 November 2026. Raised in Mansfield and shaped by an early pull toward Elvis Presley, he’s built a sound that sits comfortably between neo-traditional twang, honky-tonk bounce and a touch of rock’n’roll grit. After moving to Nashville, Milligan honed a style that favors clean melodies, storytelling lyrics and a live-forward energy, with guitars up front and a rhythm section that keeps things direct and unvarnished.

On stage, that mix comes through in songs that nod to Texas dancehalls as much as to modern Nashville. Expect tight arrangements, plenty of twang, and a swing that shifts easily from barroom foot-stompers to slow-burn ballads. His debut EP set the tone in 2021, followed by the album Dallas/Fort Worth in 2022, a collection that links classic formats to contemporary textures without losing the core of his voice.
