IVE

IVE was launched in Seoul in 2021 by Starship Entertainment and consists of six members: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. From the start the group drew particular attention to Yujin and Wonyoung, who had previously been part of IZ*ONE. IVE broke through with the single "Eleven" in 2021 and confirmed its place on the South Korean K-pop scene with "Love Dive" and "After Like" in 2022. Their sound is built on Korean pop with crisp electronic arrangements, where dance-pop and electropop intersect with disco, house and hip-hop accents, featuring tightly structured choruses and pronounced tempo changes. In 2023 IVE expanded its format with the album I’ve Ive, led by "Kitsch" and "I Am", and the EP I’ve Mine, which displayed a slightly broader range between lead singles and more melodic tracks. That same year they also launched their Japanese career with "Wave". In 2024 IVE continued this trajectory with the EP Ive Switch and the English single "All Night", recorded with Saweetie. IVE’s path has been built through Korean and Japanese releases, regular appearances on music shows and gradual international development.
