ENHYPEN
Formed in South Korea following the survival show I‑LAND in 2020, Enhypen emerged as a seven‑member group assembled by Belift Lab and quickly positioned themselves within the K‑pop scene, operating between Korea and Japan. They debuted in November 2020 with the EP Border: Day One, followed by Border: Carnival in 2021 and their first full‑length album Dimension: Dilemma the same year, then released Manifesto: Day 1 in 2022, Dark Blood and Orange Blood in 2023, and Romance: Untold in 2024. At the same time, the group issued Japanese releases such as Border: Hakanai in 2021, Dimension: Senkou and the album Sadame in 2022, anchoring Enhypen in a transnational trajectory typical of recent Korean pop. Their music blends idol‑training pop, dance‑pop, synth‑pop, hip‑hop and R&B, featuring tightly constructed choruses, contrasts between melodic passages and rap, and a visual aesthetic often linked to themes of adolescence, coming of age and transformation. In both recorded projects and live performance, Enhypen cultivates a sustained narrative universe, supported by songwriting calibrated for choreography and the live format.
