The Home Team

Based in Seattle, Washington, The Home Team develops an alternative rock sound at the intersection of pop‑punk, easycore and modern pop, with a strong emphasis on vocal melodies and rhythmic grooves. Formed in the mid‑2010s, the band first made a name for itself on the local scene before expanding across North American circuits, playing club tours and support slots in the pop‑punk and post‑hardcore spheres. The Home Team released its debut album, Better Off, in 2018, which remained heavily marked by easycore; it refined its direction with Slow Bloom in 2021, where R&B, funk and pop influences are more apparent, particularly in the guitar work and vocal lines. Initially signed to Revival Recordings and later joined by Thriller Records, The Home Team continues an aesthetic that blends catchy choruses, detailed arrangements and syncopated rhythms, balancing a pop‑punk heritage with a more open orientation toward alternative pop.
