Arrows in Action

Formed in 2017 at the University of Florida, Arrows in Action brings together Victor Viramontes-Pattison on vocals and guitar, Matthew Fowler on guitar and Jesse Frimmel on drums. Emerging from a collegiate context and later based in Nashville, the band operates stylistically between indie rock, alternative pop and power pop, featuring taut guitars, highly melodic vocal lines and production marked by synthetic textures that evoke a 1980s aesthetic. The trio has gradually steered this foundation toward more personal songwriting, maintaining a balance between rock tension, immediate choruses and an introspective tone. Collaboration with producer and mixer Dan Swank has supported this sonic continuity, notably on Built To Last, presented as the group's first album. Situated within the contemporary American alternative scene, Arrows in Action favors a compact, fluid song format where the band's collective energy remains central without abandoning a clear, accessible pop approach.
