070 Shake

070 Shake emerged at the crossroads of rap, alternative R&B and a dark, electronically tinged pop. Her name remains associated with the local collective 070—whose prefix she adopted—and with whom she first made an impression in the mid-2010s before signing to GOOD Music. She gained wider visibility in 2018 through appearances on tracks by Kanye West and Pusha T, then developed a more personal approach where singing, spoken word and rap coexist in often slow-tempo songs marked by synth washes, melodic choruses and introspective lyrics. After the EP Glitter in 2018, she released the albums Modus Vivendi (2020) and You Can't Kill Me (2022), two records that extend a nocturnal, tense and highly crafted aesthetic. On stage as well as in the studio, 070 Shake moves between alternative hip-hop, art pop and urban ambient, with a strong focus on atmospheres and vocal variations.
