Maude Latour

Between melodic indie pop and introspective songwriting, Maude Latour has been developing since the late 2010s a body of work focused on urban life, relationships and questions of identity. Based in New York after a childhood spent in several countries, she first gained traction online with a string of self-produced singles, then consolidated her work on the EP “Starsick” (2019), which blends electronic pop textures, immediate hooks and a forward vocal presence. The EP “Strangers Forever” (2021) confirmed this direct approach to alternative pop, built around first-person narratives, minimalist yet catchy arrangements and a pronounced taste for clear harmonic progressions. A graduate of a New York university, Maude Latour remains connected to a student and DIY scene while increasing her live appearances in clubs and mid-size venues across the United States, her songs circulating widely on streaming platforms. Her project is characterized by very conversational writing, where themes of intimacy, friendship and self-formation intersect with an accessible pop aesthetic designed both for private listening and for the stage.
