A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ken Carson, born Kenyatta Lee Frazier Jr., emerged within the 2010s American rap scene driven by online platforms and social media. Starting out on SoundCloud, he put out a trap sound steeped in plugg and rage aesthetics, marked by saturated electronic production, brisk rhythms, and filtered vocals with looping melodies.
