Mees Salomé

Originally from the Netherlands, Mees Salomé produces club-oriented electronic music that sits between melodic house, melodic techno and progressive house, with a marked taste for clear synth lines, slow progressions and tense atmospheres that aren’t overwhelming. He began producing as a teenager and later studied Creative Production at the Codarts conservatory in Rotterdam, before pursuing an independent path focused on production and DJing. His discography has been released on labels such as Filth on Acid, This Never Happened and Armada, and he has also produced remixes for Joris Voorn, Tinlicker and Röyksopp. Alongside his releases he launched Distant, first as a monthly podcast and later as a series of events — a natural extension of his DJ work and long-format sets. On stage, Mees Salomé navigates the European club and festival circuit, with appearances at venues and events like Watergate, DGTL, Loveland, Hangar Brussels and Pleinvrees. Together these elements form a coherent project aimed at melodic, precise music crafted for the club as much as for attentive listening.
