Based in the UK, Notion continues the lineage of British club scenes by blending UK garage, bassline, house and breaks into productions built around dense bass, fast tempos and frequent use of vocals, balancing pop hooks with rave energy. Active since the early 2010s, Notion initially circulated in bass music circles before broadening his scope toward a more direct dance approach designed for both clubs and large-scale formats. His career mixes original releases, remixes and DJ work, with regular appearances on stages and at festivals such as Glastonbury, Creamfields and Outlook. He also runs Dance Dubs, a side project focused on his edits and bootlegs that extends the aesthetic of his sets and his mix culture. On recent releases Notion alternates between new tracks and reinterpretations, including a remix of 'The Days' by Chrystal.
