Mano Le Tough

Behind the name Mano Le Tough is Irish producer and DJ Niall Mannion, originally from Greystones near Dublin. He first settled in Berlin before establishing himself on the European electronic scene. Mano Le Tough crafts melodic house at moderate tempos, marked by indie influences, frequent use of his own voice and a preference for introspective moods over overt club display. After several maxi singles around the early 2010s, notably on Permanent Vacation, he released the album Changing Days in 2013, which showcased a blend of deep house, understated electronic pop and radiant synth pads. He continued this approach on Trails in 2015, still on Permanent Vacation, accentuating the narrative aspect of his tracks and meticulous work on transitions, before joining Pampa Records for At the Moment in 2021, which extends the dialogue between dancefloor orientation and songwriterly craft. A co‑founder of the Maeve label, Mano Le Tough also supports a generation of producers aligned with melodic house and regularly performs in clubs and at international electronic music festivals.
