Secondcity

Under the name Secondcity, Rowan Harrington has been developing a solo house and deep house project since 2013 after a stint as part of the duo Taiki & Nulight. Born in Chicago in 1987 and associated with the London scene, Secondcity positions his music at the intersection of American house heritage and British club culture, with productions focused on groove, vocals and writing designed for the dancefloor. His solo emergence grew in 2014 with the single I Wanna Feel, and continued that year with What Can I Do, recorded with Ali Love. Secondcity has since pursued a career as a producer and DJ, releasing club-oriented material and engaging in targeted collaborations, notably All I Want in 2020 with Paul Woolford and Andrea Martin. Across these productions, Secondcity maintains a clear line rooted in vocal house—flexible and effective—moving between deep house, UK house and more directly club-focused formats.
