Il Volo
Born from their meeting on the Italian TV show Ti lascio una canzone in 2009, Il Volo brings together singers Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, who come from different regions of Italy and share a passion for bel canto. The trio has developed a repertoire of lyrical pop and classical crossover that blends Italian song, international standards and original compositions, supported by orchestral arrangements and a focus on vocal harmony that remains central to their identity. Their first studio album, "Il Volo", was released in 2010 and introduced the group on Italian and international stages, followed by "We Are Love" in 2012 and the Christmas record "Buon Natale: The Christmas Album" in 2013. Winning the Sanremo Festival in 2015 with the song "Grande amore" and taking part that same year in the Eurovision Song Contest marked a turning point in Il Volo’s career; later in 2015 they released the album "L'amore si muove". Il Volo’s tours alternate between major concert halls and festivals in Europe and the Americas, often accompanied by symphony orchestras, and on stage they sustain an aesthetic between popular opera, romantic ballad and renditions of Italian and international classics, as showcased by "Il Volo Sings Morricone" (2021).
