Matteo Bocelli

Trained in the Italian operatic tradition while moving toward pop, Matteo Bocelli is a singer-songwriter from Tuscany, born in 1997. The son of Andrea Bocelli, he studied piano and voice at the conservatory in Lucca before performing on stage alongside his father, initially in family settings and later on international tours. Matteo Bocelli came to prominence in 2018 with the duet "Fall On Me", recorded with Andrea Bocelli and included on the album Sì released the same year, which established him in a pop register with classical overtones. From 2021 he developed a personal repertoire of singles in English, Italian and Spanish, blending pop ballads, expansive orchestrations and songwriting influenced by European romantic song. His first solo album, Matteo, was released in 2023 and brings together this work around a voice-centered identity—between a tenor tessitura, phrasing inherited from classical singing and the conventions of contemporary pop. Still dividing his time between large stages and more intimate formats, Matteo Bocelli continues to perform both as a soloist and as a regular collaborator on Andrea Bocelli's concerts.
