Demi Lovato

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1992 and raised in Texas, Demi Lovato first came to prominence as a child actor on Barney & Friends, then through Disney Channel’s Camp Rock (2008) and the series Sonny with a Chance. In parallel, Lovato launched a pop and pop-rock career with the albums Don't Forget (2008) and Here We Go Again (2009), before broadening her palette toward R&B and dance on Unbroken (2011) and Demi (2013). Lovato’s place in mainstream pop was solidified with Confident (2015) and Tell Me You Love Me (2017), dominated by vocal ballads and uptempo tracks focused on relationships and self-empowerment. After a period out of the spotlight, Lovato returned with Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over (2021), a project blending contemporary pop with soul elements and electronic influences, then pivoted her writing toward a more rock- and pop-punk-leaning sound on Holy Fvck (2022) and the rock re-recordings album Revamped (2023). Active on the international pop scene, Lovato alternates headlining shows, shared tours, and one-off collaborations with artists from dance, British pop, or reggaeton, while maintaining a close connection with her audience through a strong media and digital presence.
