La Sécurité

La Sécurité is an art-punk collective based in Montreal, fueled by nervy rhythms, minimalist melodies and an energy that seems filtered through the city's sleepless neon. The group blends punk, new wave and krautrock in a direct approach where dance functions as much as a means of expression as it does a release. True to the Riot Grrrl spirit, their lyrics address empowerment, friendship in all its forms and a way of embracing chaos with kindness. After laying the groundwork for their world with the album Stay Safe! (2023), La Sécurité continues to explore sonically with singles like “Detour” and “Ketchup”, which confirm their taste for rhythmic flashes and angular structures. On stage, their abrasive yet luminous aesthetic becomes a taut surge, designed to unsettle conventions as much as the dancefloor.
