Bo Kaspers Orkester

Formed in Sweden in 1991, Bo Kaspers Orkester brings together Bo Sundström, Fredrik Dahl, Michael Malmgren and Mats Schubert in a quartet that blends Swedish-language pop, understated rock, jazz and lounge touches. The band first established itself in the early 1990s with Söndag i sängen (1993), then quickly developed broader songwriting on På hotell (1995) and Amerika (1996), where it refined a supple sound focused on arrangements, melodies and restrained delivery. The late 1990s and the 2000s confirmed this direction with I centrum (1998), Kaos (2001), Vilka tror vi att vi är (2003) and Hund (2006), in a register moving between pop song, light jazz and discreet groove. Bo Kaspers Orkester continued the trajectory with 8 (2008), New Orleans (2010), Du borde tycka om mig (2012), Redo Att Gå Sönder (2015), 23:55 (2019) and I denna mörka vintertid (2021). Active for more than three decades, Bo Kaspers Orkester holds a stable place in the Swedish musical landscape, between adult pop and an accessible jazz approach, with an identity built over time rather than through abrupt breaks.
