bees & honey

Based between Berlin and London, bees & honey takes the form of a multicultural collective of five producers, songwriters and DJs: Jonas Kalisch, Henrik Meinke, Jeremy Chacon, Aleksej Vlasenko and Jazz Montell Wade. The project grew out of behind‑the‑scenes writing and production work for contemporary pop and R&B, with credits alongside artists such as Tyla, Ellie Goulding, Craig David, Zara Larsson and Ruger, before emerging under its own name. bees & honey fosters an aesthetic that links global pop, soul, R&B and club culture, favouring supple rhythms, direct hooks and textures conceived to move between radio, the dancefloor and hybrid stages. Tracks like “Show Me Love” and “cc like that” offer a first glimpse of this collective, transnational identity, shaped between a Berlin studio and London connections. bees & honey thus sits within a generation of projects for which the boundaries between production, songwriting, DJing and artist project are becoming increasingly porous.
