Active on the South African electronic scene, Kasango has crafted a world centered on Afro house, with melodic variations close to deep and tech house. Hailing from South Africa, the producer and DJ gradually made his mark in the clubs and festivals of his home country before extending his dates to Europe and the Middle East, driven by a rhythmic aesthetic rooted in African percussion and a taste for long, hypnotic melodic lines. Kasango’s career took on a new dimension with the 2021 single "Osama," co-produced with Zakes Bantwini, which cemented his place in the international Afro house landscape and led to numerous tours and guest residencies. On stage, Kasango favors sets built on progressive builds, meticulous dynamic control, and the integration of soulful vocals or singing in African languages. Between the studio and clubs, he continues to refine a sonic signature that links South Africa’s house tradition to a more global, contemporary sound.
