AEREA

Based in Madrid, AEREA took shape in 2021 around producer Al’ and vocalist Caar, adopting an electronic-music approach that places as much emphasis on rhythmic impact as on melodic weight. The Spanish duo develops a sound situated between trance, hardgroove, melodic techno and schranz, within a dense aesthetic where pads, tension builds and airy vocals create a direct yet sensitive atmosphere. AEREA often refers to their work as “emotional techno” to describe this meeting of club energy and a more introspective register. On stage, AEREA structures their sets around electronic productions and sung vocals that are then reworked, giving their performances a more embodied dimension than a conventional DJ format. The project has appeared on stages such as Dreambeach, A Summer Story and Medusa, as well as in clubs like Fabrik in Madrid and E1 in London. Among their releases are 10.000 Flores and the 2025 single “Amor Dulce”, which features Spanish guitars and a more narrative songwriting approach. AEREA’s visual identity, often linked to natural landscapes, extends this search for a universe that is physical, emotional and immersive.
