Alessi Rose

Born in 2002 in Littleover, a suburb of Derby in England, Alessi Rose—full name Alessandra Rose Jones—has developed a songwriting project that sits between indie pop, pop rock and alt-pop, informed by a background in poetry in London. She began writing at 13 and first gained attention by posting videos on YouTube and later Instagram, before turning to self-production during the end of the UK lockdown. In 2023 she released her first singles, including “Say Ur Mine” and “Hate This Part”, which established an artistic world focused on relationships, leaving her hometown and a strongly narrative lyric style. In 2024 she followed with “Eat Me Alive”, “Break Me” and the EP Rumination as Ritual on Hunger, where she confronts her obsessive–compulsive disorder and rumination tendencies head-on. Positioned within a shifting British indie-pop scene, she opened for Ella Jane and joined Noah Kahan for a date in Belfast. Early in 2025 Alessi Rose released the EP For Your Validation via AWAL, anchored by the singles “Oh My”, “Imsochillandcool”, “Pretty World”, “Start All Over” and “Don’t Ask Questions”, supported Tate McRae on several Miss Possessive tour dates, and then opened the entirety of Dua Lipa’s European Radical Optimism tour. The same year the EP Voyeur, issued by Capitol and Polydor, extended this introspective pop vein by exploring the idea of emotional voyeurism and was followed by a European tour, while Alessi Rose—formerly part of the Loud LDN collective—continues to work in guitar-driven pop influenced by Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Kate Bush, Lorde and Taylor Swift.
