Mac Declos

Emerging from France's new techno generation, Mac Declos develops work focused on fast tempos, percussive grooves and melodic lines drawn from trance and hardgroove. A DJ and producer based in France, Mac Declos adheres to a direct club aesthetic built around long builds, fragmented vocal motifs and strongly marked rhythms that place him at the crossroads of techno, hard techno and more tribal-sounding elements. First noticed in the late 2010s thanks to a series of independently released tracks and EPs, he went on to release on various European labels, gradually taking him to clubs and rave-oriented events in France and abroad. His sets, often fast and continuous, prioritize tight transitions and shifts in texture rather than dramatic breaks, extending in the DJ booth the producer's approach he develops in the studio.
