Estella Boersma

Based in Berlin, Estella Boersma develops a project that sits between taut techno, electro, breaks and direct club formats, with a songwriting approach focused on energy, crisp rhythms and textures that are often dark without being monochrome. Dutch by origin, she emerged on the electronic scene in the early 2020s after a career in fashion and released her first tracks in 2021 on Dance Trax, a sublabel of Unknown To The Unknown. Her discography has since been built through short, targeted steps, with further releases on the same imprint, an appearance on the compilation Planet X 100 Years of Columbia, and the singles The Wave and Sweat, before Glade. In 2024 she also launched her own label, EB-REX, with the EP EB001, oriented toward fast, frontal club techno. Alongside production, Estella Boersma performs across stages and formats linked to contemporary electronic music — from clubs and festivals to filmed sets — with notable appearances at HÖR Berlin, Boiler Room, Mixmag Lab and Arte TV, as well as venues and events such as Fabric London, Awakenings, Radion, Glastonbury and Into The Woods.
