Bailey Ibbs

Originally from Derbyshire, England, Bailey Ibbs has developed a career as a DJ and producer within the UK’s emerging club scenes. His music crosses techno, percussive house, breaks and electro, with a marked taste for dry rhythms, taut basslines and a contemporary rave aesthetic firmly rooted in the UK context. Bailey Ibbs came to attention around the turn of the 2020s, at a time when a new generation of producers was emerging through online distribution, independent labels and the revival of clubs. Refusing to be confined to a single register, he evolves his productions from one track to the next—oscillating between techno tension, broken motifs and more direct structures inherited from British soundsystem culture. He also runs Night Service, his own imprint, which supports this mobile, club-focused artistic direction. On the live front, he has been booked at several prominent English venues, including FOLD, fabric, 24 Kitchen Street and HIDDEN, situating his work within a network of clubs attentive to contemporary forms of electronic music.
