DJ Fuckoff

Based in Berlin after a childhood in New Zealand, DJ Fuckoff develops a practice that sits between DJing, production and vocal performance, marked by an attachment to the rave and hip‑hop cultures of their adolescence. Moving to Germany alone at 21, DJ Fuckoff quickly became part of Berlin’s nightlife and then expanded activity to other European scenes, from clubs and squats to festivals. Their music blends fast, abrasive techno with elements of bass, happy hardcore, juke and breakbeat — massive basslines, fragmented rhythms and vocal interventions that are often direct and sometimes verge on rap. In the studio DJ Fuckoff has released several EPs and tracks on labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, Dance Trax, HERAS and Body Language, while regularly updating digital platforms. Sets for Rinse and other online radios continue this taste for rapid hybridization and tempo changes, with a political edge in which DJ Fuckoff questions gender norms and power dynamics in party spaces.
