Jensen Interceptor

Based in Berlin after emerging in Australia, Jensen Interceptor has developed since the 2010s an approach to electronic music that sits between electro, techno and breaks, with clear references to Miami bass, italo, EBM and certain Detroit traditions. His productions and remixes, released notably on Boysnoize Records, Bromance, Cultivated Electronics and Central Processing Unit, rely on dry rhythms, acidic basslines and dark melodic lines. In DJ sets, Jensen Interceptor moves between clubs and warehouses with fast-paced selections where mechanical electro, tense techno and motifs inherited from the 1980s and 1990s intersect. This trajectory, built between studio and stage, places Jensen Interceptor in an electronic vein focused on the impact of rhythm, rough textures and a direct connection to the dancefloor.
