Based in Germany and active on the Berlin and European club scenes, DJ MELL G belongs to a generation of artists who blend electro, ghetto tech, breaks and hip‑hop influences. Rooted in the underground, she has gradually attracted attention with fast, percussion‑driven sets centred on sharp basslines and a marked taste for reworked vocals and nods to rap. Her work as a producer has developed in parallel: from the late 2010s she has released a series of maxi singles and tracks that combine digital funk, an old‑school electro aesthetic and rougher, more abrasive textures. DJ MELL G founded the label Juicy Gang Records, which she uses as a base to release her own productions and those of close collaborators while asserting a sound identity oriented toward direct, high‑tempo club music. Appearing on club and festival line‑ups and on online mix platforms, she alternates residencies, one‑off invitations and collaborations with other producers, rappers and collectives, building a trajectory centred on contemporary electro and its most rhythm‑driven offshoots.
