Alison Wonderland

Active on the electronic scene since the early 2010s, Alison Wonderland is an Australian producer, DJ and singer from Sydney, mainly associated with trap, bass music and emotionally-tinged electronic pop. Originally trained as a cellist and involved in several bands before turning to the club scene, she first drew attention with a series of remixes and then with her EP “Calm Down” (2014), which established her blend of massive basslines, trap rhythms and introspective vocals. Her debut album “Run” (2015) confirmed this hybrid approach between EDM and personal pop songwriting, while “Awake” (2018) explored a more melodic register with themes centered on vulnerability and resilience. With “Loner” (2022), Alison Wonderland continued this intimate narrative against a backdrop of electronic production geared toward large stages, while incorporating stronger future bass and alternative pop influences. Equally present at festivals and in clubs, she builds a live show focused on the energy of drops and a prominent vocal dimension, placing her among a generation of producers who simultaneously take on the roles of composer, performer and DJ in contemporary electronic music.
