Balu Brigada
Balu Brigada is a band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed in 2016 by brothers Henry and Pierre Beasley. Early on, they aligned with labels such as Atlantic and Warner Music Australia, releasing the EPs I Should Be Home (2022) and Find a Way (2023) before announcing their debut album, Portal, released on August 29, 2025. The duo has crafted a sonic world that spans indie rock and alt-pop, shaped through singles like Designer, Backseat, Politix, and Sideways, and is steadily establishing itself on the international stage. With increased touring across North America and Europe, Balu Brigada is broadening its audience while continuing to pursue a coherent, steady artistic trajectory.
