Aleksandir

Turkish producer and DJ Aleksandir has, since the second half of the 2010s, built a trajectory between Istanbul and the United Kingdom, at the crossroads of melodic house, contemplative electronica and a more direct club sound. His earliest tracks and a debut album occupy a rather measured vein, characterized by supple rhythms and airy pads, before the 2018 track "Yamaha" signalled a move toward more dancefloor-oriented formats. Aleksandir continued this evolution by co-founding the label Artesian Sounds with Emre Can Swim, and with the EP ARS003 in 2019, which led to several remixes, including one by Tom VR. At the same time he launched the Miks night with Supu, alongside a growing presence on club stages in London, Berlin, Paris and other international dates. On Skin (2021) and on the singles "Momus / Sacro" and "String Game" in 2023, Aleksandir refines a writing that blends melancholy, emotional restraint and rhythmic drive. The EP HEARTH SONGS (2024), conceived across several cities, continues this line with mobile, nocturnal and sensitive electronics.
