Crypta

Formed in São Paulo in 2019, Crypta took shape around Fernanda Lira on vocals and bass and Luana Dametto on drums after their departure from Nervosa, before being completed by guitarists Tainá Bergamaschi and Sonia Anubis. The Brazilian quartet plays dark, direct death metal built on fast riffs, very mobile drumming, pronounced bass lines and guitar work that alternates aggression with more melodic passages. Signed to Napalm Records in 2020, Crypta released Echoes of the Soul in 2021 and Shades of Sorrow in 2023, two albums that establish the band's aesthetic framework while expanding its songwriting. Crypta's trajectory quickly included tours in Latin America, Europe and the United States, as well as festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Rock in Rio and Summer Breeze Brasil. After Sonia Anubis left in 2022, Jéssica Di Falchi joined Crypta as guitarist before leaving the band in 2025; Victoria Villareal was confirmed as lead guitarist in 2026. Today Crypta comprises Fernanda Lira, Luana Dametto, Tainá Bergamaschi and Victoria Villareal.
