Krisiun

Founded in 1990 in Ijuí, southern Brazil, Krisiun brings together brothers Alex Camargo, Moyses Kolesne and Max Kolesne around a very fast, dense and precise death metal style, marked by razor-sharp riffs, burst-like drumming and a sense of groove that becomes more pronounced over time. After several demos and the EP Unmerciful Order in 1993, Krisiun settled in São Paulo, expanded their live activity and released Black Force Domain in 1995 and Apocalyptic Revelation in 1998. The trio then gained wider visibility on the international extreme scene with Conquerors of Armageddon (2000) and Ageless Venomous (2001), records that defined Krisiun's identity between frontal brutality, the legacy of American death metal and a clearer thrash accent on certain tracks. The rest of their discography continues this line with Works of Carnage (2003), AssassiNation (2006), Southern Storm (2008), The Great Execution (2011), Forged in Fury (2015), Scourge of the Enthroned (2018) and Mortem Solis (2022). Over the years Krisiun has toured regularly in Europe, North and South America, played festivals such as Wacken Open Air and called on occasional collaborators like Erik Rutan, Andreas Kisser and João Gordo.
