Info
Archive hits the road again and makes a stop at La Liberté in Rennes on 28 September 2027 for a live show that spans three decades of music in motion. The British collective, led by Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, draws from its greatest classics without neglecting what defines its present: recent tracks from Glass Minds and Not in My Name, released in quick succession.
Thirty years after Londinium, Archive continues to blur the lines between trip-hop, art rock, electronic pop, and neo-prog. Not in My Name carries a newer, more direct tension, fueled by a spirit of protest and an anti-war message, while the arrival of Jimmy Collins as a permanent member tightens the link to the group's London beginnings and injects a rap-infused energy into a constantly evolving formula. On stage, these contrasts come to the fore: long crescendos, dark textures, more direct passages, and that sense of a song stretching when needed.
