Info
On November 9, 2026 at New Century in Manchester, Kelsey Lu brings their cello-and-voice world back onstage, seven years after the debut album Blood set the tone with baroque drama, slow-burning devotion and a real taste for experimentation. This show sits in the wake of So Help Me God, a 10-track chapter built as a reckoning rather than a comfort listen, where desire, grief and transformation keep colliding instead of neatly resolving.
Expect a set that moves between chamber-pop tension, soulful undercurrents and sharper electronic textures, with Lu’s arrangements putting the body and the spirit in the same room. It’s the kind of music that can feel intimate even when it gets loud, carried by a singular voice and the physical presence of the cello, pushing songs into something raw, direct, and hard to pin down.
