Info
Electric Six bring their Detroit-born collision of rock guitars and club-ready grooves to Glasgow on November 29, 2026, at the Queen Margaret Union. Active since the late 90s (first as The Wildbunch), the band built its identity on a wired mix of alternative rock, funk, garage bite, new wave sheen and a discreet disco pulse.
On stage, everything revolves around that sharp, sing-along writing and the deliberately sideways humour that made tracks like “Danger! High Voltage” and “Gay Bar” early-2000s staples, and Fire (2003) a real turning point. With Dick Valentine as the constant anchor through shifting line-ups, the show leans into momentum: tight choruses, synthetic flashes, and a rock energy designed to make the room move. From Señor Smoke and Switzerland to Turquoise, their more recent material keeps the same tension between glam attitude, pop references and dancefloor insistence—perfect for a set that doesn’t stop to catch its breath.
