Weval lands in Utrecht on October 10, 2026 at EKKO with a special edition of their club concept Club Chorophobia. Ten years after their previous appearance, Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte-Albers return, but this time not with a live set: they will take over the decks for the entire night for an exclusive all-nighter.
The Amsterdam-based duo are known for productions that feel simultaneously cinematic and layered, with warm synth textures, smooth bass lines and distorted vocals that double as melodies. With the album Chorophobia, they push more decisively toward the dance floor: higher BPMs, unexpected breaks and a driving groove that focuses more on movement without sacrificing their attention to detail. After earlier Club Chorophobia nights in London, Paris and Berlin, Utrecht now gets that same intimate club vibe, somewhere between tightly built and playfully unruly.
