Behind Bayonne is Roger Sellers, a musician based in Austin, who shapes electronic pop that is both precise and ethereal, straddling ambient, dream pop, and minimalist songwriting. His tracks advance through repetitive motifs, suspended textures, and soft pulses, with a voice that blends into the whole rather than dominating. On stage, he often performs his songs solo, building them layer by layer, in a very direct, almost artisanal format, where one can see the progression unfold in real time. After Drastic Measures and Temporary Time, Filters continues this continuity: melodic, patient music that plays with space and a rising tension without overemphasizing the emotion.
