The singer‑songwriter and producer Tommy Barlow returns with 'Won't You Ever Need Me', his new single accompanied by a music video directed by Josh Renaut, released on the Young label. Whereas his debut track, 'Earth Killer', established itself as a ballad with progressively increasing intensity—at once wounded, luminous, and weightless—'Won't You Ever Need Me' ventures into a rougher, more unstable territory: a song that starts from a simple drum and piano motif, rising into a wall of sound on the verge of collapse, the voice gradually disintegrating until the whole thing collapses in on itself.
