Trampolene

Formed in Swansea, Wales, Trampolene coalesced in the early 2010s around singer and poet Jack Jones, with Wayne Thomas and Kyle Williams completing the trio. After beginnings on the local scene and a stint in London, Trampolene developed a sound that sits between indie rock, alternative rock and spoken word, where taut guitars and a direct rhythmic drive intersect with more stripped-back songs and highly narrative lyrics. That identity crystallised through singles, EPs and tours on the British independent circuit, then on stages across Europe, including appearances alongside The Libertines and Liam Gallagher. Trampolene’s debut album, Swansea to Hornsey, was released in 2017 and carried forward that link between band energy and frontal, incisive songwriting. Since then the band has continued to alternate electric numbers and more intimate formats, balancing rock tension, everyday observation and a near-poetic voice.
