TR/ST will be performing in Paris on June 28, 2026 at Le Trabendo. Behind this name lies Robert Alfons, a Canadian producer and singer long associated with the synth-pop and darkwave scenes, with a blend of dry beats, cold synth textures, and melodies that are as captivating as they are a little unsettling. Originally appearing under the name Trust, the project established itself across the albums TRST (2012) and Joyland (2014), before expanding into the two parts of The Destroyer (Part One and Part Two, 2019), broader, more contrasted, between industrial tension and atmospheric forays. In recent years, TR/ST has restarted the machine with its signing to Dais Records and a string of releases that put the dancefloor back at the center. The single 'Robrash' opened the way, followed by the EP TR/ST, which includes notably 'Run' with Cecile Believe, a cover of 'Being Boring' by the Pet Shop Boys alongside Jake Shears, as well as 'Evercall' and 'Slug'. A one-off date to revisit this nocturnal, direct songwriting, and that dark elegance carved for the stage.
