If the name Kodaline means something to you, it’s often for those piano-driven tracks with clean guitars and choruses that linger. Formed in Swords, near Dublin, the Irish quartet led by Steve Garrigan (with Mark Prendergast, Vinny May Jr. and Jason Boland) has carved out a sound that sits between melodic pop rock and softer alternative, where ballads really have room to breathe, without slipping into sentimentality. From In a Perfect World (2013) to One Day at a Time (2020), Kodaline has broadened their production toward something bigger and more pop, while keeping the writing at the forefront: stories of relationships, absence, and memories, told in a direct manner and carried by a band energy. On December 18, 2026, at Dublin’s 3Arena, they are set to perform this live-tailored repertoire, between moments of stillness and more upfront crescendos.
