On March 4, 2027, Jahneration lands at the Rocher de Palmer in Cenon with its modern reggae fused with hip-hop and dancehall. Behind the name are Thëo and Ogach, two friends who formed the duo in Paris in 2009, after laying aside their early punk rock reflexes to focus on songs built for the live stage. Their signature: sung lines and flows that swing between English and touches of Jamaican patois, with a real fondness for punchy rhythms and hooks that linger.
Over the years, Jahneration has built its sound through writing, touring, and encounters, with collaborations ranging from Alborosie and Queen Omega to Manu Chao, Dub Inc, Danakil, or Naâman. The track Me Nah Fed Up, born from this connection, marked a turning point and opened the way to a string of albums and concerts, often backed by musicians. On stage, the duo alternates high-energy, front-row intensity, more melodic passages, and heavy basslines, in a set designed to make the crowd move without losing the groove.
