Info
On 10 November 2026, The Slow Show bring the White Water Anniversary Live Tour to Union Chapel, London. Formed in Manchester in 2010 around singer Rob Goodwin and pianist Frederik ’t Kindt, the band has shaped a restrained indie sound where baritone vocals, piano and guitar carry slow-moving ballads and a quiet orchestral tension. This tour revisits their debut album White Water (2015), the record that set their tone of measured tempos and intimate writing, and folds it into a set drawn from the years that followed.
On stage, The Slow Show favour space and detail over volume: a low voice placed at the centre, drums that breathe, melodies that take their time. Between White Water’s early pieces and later songs from Dream Darling, Lust and Learn, Still Life or Subtle Love, they trace the same minimalist line, somewhere between indie rock, chamber pop and nocturnal folk. Minimal frills, the grain of Goodwin’s voice up front and arrangements that keep the emotion near the surface.
