Ten Fé
Trained in London around Leo Duncan and Ben Moorhouse, Ten Fé took shape at the end of the 2000s after a meeting a few years earlier, with beginnings marked by performances in the London Underground and writing work carried out alongside other projects. Initially active under other names, the duo then adopted Ten Fé and developed a sound located between indie rock, indie pop and folk rock, with bright guitars, loose rhythms and a penchant for direct melodies, often carried by shared vocals. After the single Time in 2013 and the 50/50 EP, Ten Fé released their debut album Hit the Light in 2017, recorded in Berlin, and gradually expanded their live setup with other musicians. The band then toured the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States, in a register that blends band energy with more introspective songwriting. In 2019, Ten Fé released Future Perfect, Present Tense, conceived between London and Oslo, an album that emphasises the project’s collective dimension and refines a sound where indie pop, alternative rock and Americana crossroads meet. Ten Fé remains associated with this duo-writing open to band arrangements, balancing controlled electric tension with accessible song formats.
