Bill Callahan, long-running figure of the late-’80s indie underground, brings his deep, conversational baritone and quietly vivid songwriting to the Roundhouse in London on 5 October 2026. Known for spare folk-rock arrangements and imagery drawn from the American West, he sculpts small scenes that open onto wider horizons. This date leans into My Days of 58, his eighth album and first since 2022, twelve songs that fold the give-and-take of the stage into the studio. The tone is live and close to the bone: portraits, road sketches and domestic moments carried by unfussy grooves, dry guitar lines and that low, steady voice.
Across new pieces and older staples, Callahan plays with pace and light, moving from hushed confession to a slow, rolling churn. The focus stays on detail over display, words up front, space around the band, and melodies that settle in without forcing it.
