Info
On 2 September 2026 at KOKO in London, Tyler Ballgame steps on stage with a songwriter’s approach shaped by 60s and 70s orchestrated pop and folk. Based in Los Angeles, he builds songs on acoustic foundations, a light retro grain in the production and a voice kept at the front, with clear lines back to Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Harry Nilsson and Paul Simon. After emerging publicly in 2024 with the tracks Radio and Help Me Out, his name travelled beyond the local scene, leading to a signing with Rough Trade Records and studio work with Jonathan Rado and Ryan Pollie.
Live, Tyler favors measured arrangements, clear melodies and flexible tempos, structuring each piece around phrasing and space rather than effect. The nostalgia in his writing nods to classic songwriting without slipping into re-enactment, keeping the focus on the song. At KOKO, he brings that balance to the room, threading intimate acoustic moments with indie pop contours and revisiting Radio, Help Me Out and newer material within a set built around the voice.
