Ruel

London-born and Sydney-raised, singer and songwriter Ruel brings his blend of contemporary pop shaded by soul and R&B to Electric Brixton, London, on 7 October 2026. First spotted in his teens by Australian producer M-Phazes, he built a clear songwriting identity early on: direct melodies, an expressive vocal presence and introspective lyrics. The EPs Ready (2018) and Free Time (2019) set the tone, followed by Bright Lights, Red Eyes (2020), leaning into a softer, more contemplative palette. His debut album 4th Wall (2023) pulls those threads together, moving between slow-burn ballads, mid-tempo grooves and a sharper alternative pop edge.

On stage, Ruel keeps the voice at the centre, working dynamics and space rather than piling it on. The set draws from 4th Wall alongside earlier EP highlights, with room for reworked versions and subtle nods to collaborations with M-Phazes or Hilltop Hoods. Between tight hooks and quieter passages, the show traces the arc of his writing from early sketches to more textured material, carried by a live band that leaves air around the songs.
