Info
Blackberry Smoke brings its 25th Anniversary Tour 2026 to History Ottawa on September 15, 2026. Rooted in Atlanta since the early 2000s, the band has shaped a sound where southern rock leans into country and blues, with a hard rock edge and a taste for jam-style detours. Fronted by singer-guitarist Charlie Starr alongside guitarist Paul Jackson, bassist Richard Turner and keyboardist Brandon Still, the group has built its identity on twin-guitar interplay, warm harmonies and stories drawn from the American South. On the road, Kent Aberle has handled drums since late 2023, with Benji Shanks reinforcing the guitar section on stage since 2018.
Across two decades, Blackberry Smoke has stacked key chapters: Bad Luck Ain’t No Crime and Little Piece of Dixie laid the groundwork, The Whippoorwill widened the circle, then came Holding All the Roses with producer Brendan O’Brien, Like an Arrow featuring Gregg Allman, Find a Light, You Hear Georgia with Dave Cobb plus Jamey Johnson and Warren Haynes, and Be Right Here in 2024. This anniversary date at History Ottawa promises a set that reaches from early cuts to recent songs, with room for stretched-out grooves and chorus-driven singalongs.
