On 16 May 2026, the Jardin Moderne in Rennes hosts Black Hole XXL 2, a night devoted to acid, hard techno and trance. On the bill: A*S*Y*S, Shanixx, Niotech and other guests for a club journey conceived for the dancefloor.
A*S*Y*S, aka Frank Ellrich, has established himself since the late 1990s on the German electronic scene with a sound at the crossroads of hard trance, acid and techno. His sets line up steady rhythms and prominent acid lines, effective both in clubs and at festivals. A producer as well as a DJ, he launched his label Fe Chrome in 2018 and also releases and collaborates — notably with T78 — in a compact techno vein nourished by rave heritage.
Based in Berlin after initial piano training, Niotech develops a frontal techno in which compositional precision meets dark textures and melodic tension. A producer and DJ, he runs the label Whalien, which hosts some of his releases, and regularly publishes on other labels in the scene. In the club, his tracks aim for impact without neglecting their construction.
Shanixx completes the line-up, bringing a touch between techno and trance for a set calibrated around intensity and continuous flow.
